چکیده
Abstract The confinement/deconfinement transition described the Polyakov–Nambu–Jona–Lasinio (PNJL) model is extended to be operative at zero temperature regime. In this study, scalar and vector channel interaction strengths of original PNJL are modified by introducing a dependence on traced Polyakov loop. such way effective interactions depend quark phase in turn provides backreaction quarks gluonic sector, also temperature. On general grounds from quantum chromodynamics an expected feature. thermodynamics (PNJL0) studied detail. It presents along with suitable choice potential, first order confined/deconfined even $$T=0$$ T = 0 . We show that plays important role allow $$\varPhi \ne 0$$ Φ ≠ solutions for PNJL0 model. Furthermore, sensitivity combined quarkyonic deconfinement phases strength proposed parametrization Polyakov-loop potential allowed set window bulk values relevant parameters.

Decoherence at zero temperature
Most discussions of decoherence in the literature consider the high temperature regime but it is also known that, in the presence of dissipation, decoherence can occur even at zero temperature. Whereas most previous investigations all assumed initial decoupling of the quantum system and bath, we consider that the system and environment are entangled at all times. Here, we discuss decoherence fo...
متن کاملInformation Storage in the Stochastic Ising Model at Zero Temperature
Most information systems store data by modifying the local state of matter, in the hope that atomic (or subatomic) local interactions would stabilize the state for a sufficiently long time, thereby allowing later recovery. In this work we initiate the study of information retention in locally-interacting systems. The evolution in time of the interacting particles is modeled via the stochastic I...
متن کاملQCD Phases and Thermodynamics of a N f = 3 Nonlocal PNJL Model ∗
Low-energy QCD in its sector with Nf = 3 flavours of almost massless up and down quarks (mu ≈ md ∼ O(5MeV)) and a slightly heavier strange quark (ms ∼ O(100MeV)) is known to have the following characteristic symmetry breaking pattern: the Goldstone bosons related to spontaneously broken chiral SU(3) × SU(3) symmetry are identified with the pions and kaons. Their masses originate from explicit s...
متن کاملThe phase diagram and bulk thermodynamical quantities in the NJL model at finite temperature and density
We reexamine the recent instanton motivated studies of Alford, Rajagopal and Wilczek, and Berges and Rajagopal in the framework of the standard SU(2) Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model. The chiral phase diagram is calculated in the temperature–density plane, and the pressure is evaluated as the function of the density. Obtaining simple approximate relations describing the T-µ and T-p F phase transition l...
متن کاملThermodynamics of the PNJL model
QCD thermodynamics is investigated by means of the Polyakov-loop-extended Nambu Jona-Lasinio (PNJL) model, in which quarks couple simultaneously to the chiral condensate and to a background temporal gauge field representing Polyakov loop dynamics. The behaviour of the Polyakov loop as a function of temperature is obtained by minimizing the thermodynamic potential of the system. A Taylor series ...
